Tour - Day Six - Concert with Amsterdam Staff Band

June 2, 2011 1 comment
Another early morning start and it was back to Holland for our joint concert with the Amsterdam Staff Band at Baarn. We arrived just before noon and were warmly welcomed by our staff band colleagues at our venue for the night, the Pauluskerk, the oldest and biggest church in the city formerly attended by members of the Dutch royal family.

Following afternoon rehearsals with the ASB, we presented our evening concert, much to the delight of the overflowing crowd. We were especially pleased with the hospitality shown to us by our hosts throughout the day, with whom we enjoyed rich fellowship over two meals shared together. Billed as a “Heavenly Concert,” it truly was anointed of God. At the end of the day, we bid farewell to our friends knowing we would meet again in just a few short days at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
